A Climate Conversation on Conservation Development: Helping protect Bowen from the effects of climate change

With John Dowler, David Hocking, and John Reid

Conservation development is an approach to land use that seems ideally suited for Bowen, especially in face of a changing climate.

David Hocking will review the implications for Bowen identified in Metro Vancouver’s 2050 Climate Change Strategy. And John Dowler and John Reid will present on how conservation development can help protect forests and wildlife on Bowen from the effects of climate change, as well as maintain our rural identity.
