On September 3, 2025, Bylaw Services removed abandoned boats and kayaks from the boat racks at Tunstall Bay and Sandy Beaches. We have reunited many owners with their property, but a number of kayaks remain unclaimed.

Please take a careful look at the photos below. If these kayaks are not claimed and picked up, we will be selling them at auction.

The online auction will run from 9:00 a.m. on Monday, December 15, 2025, until 12:00 p.m. on Friday, December 19, 2025. Bids will be accepted on this page while the auction is open. After the auction closes, the successful bidder will be notified and will be responsible for collecting the kayak.

Questions? Want to claim your kayak? Please call Bylaw Services at 604-947-4255 ext. 2 or email bylaw@bimbc.ca.
