Council seeks input from community by means of Island Survey 2021

News Release
June 10, 2021

BOWEN ISLAND – Bowen Island Municipal Council is asking for feedback from islanders. The Island Survey is for Bowen Island residents and property owners, and is conducted every other year.

The survey, offered online, will take about 20 minutes to complete and addresses satisfaction with municipal services, transportation, emergency preparedness, housing, the pandemic and the local economy on Bowen Island. The goals of the survey are to collect relevant, Bowen-specific data that will complement Census data in order to inform Council’s decisions on strategic planning, services, support grant applications and to help anticipate demand. The survey will also gather data for year-over-year comparisons, and assess current community feedback.

Personal information is not collected – all responses are to be provided anonymously – and an aggregate of the results will be publicly available later this year.

Island Survey 2021 is open until July 31, 2021.
